Are the Chainsmokers falling off or are they making a come back?

The Chainsmokers, An EDM (Electronic Dance Music) duo who originated in New York City, New York. Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall began their journey of producing music in 2012 to present.The duo became world wide know with their hits, #Selfie, Closer, and Roses. The Chainsmokers have won 2 American Music Awards and 5 iHeartRadio Music Awards.


In the news recently, Alex Pall was caught cheating on his girlfriend and said that she deserves a better man than him, he is still hanging out with the blonde headed woman. Andrew Taggart was mistaken for Liam Payne, but instead of getting mad about it, he just laughed and played along.

After making their hit songs, The Chainsmokers hadn’t made any major songs for awhile. The Chainsmokers re-entered the social 50 making it to number 16. They are working harder than ever to make a big impression on the world. Some fans are upset with them for working on vocal collaborations with pop stars than making more dance music.

January 17 of 2018, they released their first, since they released “Memories”, Do Not Open, entitled “Sick Boy”. After a month had past, a new single , “You Owe Me” was released. The Chainsmokers did a live show in Prague, which they debuted the song “Everybody Hates Me”. Since then, Billboard has named The Chainsmokers as the number one on their 2018 ranking of dance musicians titled Billboard dance 100, and of course they were excited and grateful for everyone and all their hard work and dedication paid off.

The Chainsmokers is wanting and looking to meet it’s EDM-Style with some of the most popular songs from music icons, like Ray Charles, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, and Beyonce in a one-night only performance in July. They also have plans for the Pepsi Generations Summer Music Campaign at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on July 24, 2018. They just want their images on the Pepsi cans.
